3D services Mastercard® Identity Check™ and Visa Secure are free services for secure purchase with Maestro/Mastercard and/or Visa cards at online points of sale that support 3D service. When financially confirming the purchase, you additionally confirm your identity with a one-time SMS password. The exchange of classified information is performed exclusively between you and the Bank, and the internet point of sale does not have access to the information being exchanged.
Activation of 3D services is realized exclusively during the first purchase at an online point of sale that supports Mastercard® Identity Check™ and Visa Secure payment system.
Contactless technology provides a fast, easy and secure way of payment: - payment is made in a few seconds; - it is enough to just put the card on a contactless reader; - for purchases up to 60 BAM there is no PIN authorization.
The current account can be opened by simply submitting a request in person at the nearest Nova banka branch with the submission of the required documentation.
Residents: - A copy of a valid ID card; - CIPS certificate of residence or any bill for monthly overheads with the name and surname and address of the client (not older than 6 months); - Filled in account opening form. The foreign currency account of Nova banka client is multi-currency, as it is possible to have transactions in different foreign currencies on one account.
- To use the Smart nova web application, the User is obliged to provide minimum technical requirements: processor generation P4 or higher, minimum 1 GB of memory, minimum 200 MB of hard disk space, internet access speed 128 Kbps or more, graphics card with a resolution of 1024x768 or more, operating system WinXPSP2 or higher, Adobe Reader 9.0 or higher, internet browser: Chrome version 30 or higher (on Win7+, Android 4.1+ or iOS9+), Firefox version 27 and higher (on WinXPSP2+, Android 4.0.3+ or iOS 8.2+ ), Internet Explorer (I IE mobile) version 11 (on Win7) and higher. To use the Smart nova mobile application, the User is obliged to provide a smartphone with the operating system for Android minimum version 5.0, for Apple iOS 6.0+ with internet access. The client is obliged to download the latest version of the mobile banking application from the appropriate market ("Google Play" or "App Store"). - The User undertakes to keep the data about the username and password, and to notify the Bank immediately and without delay of any case of loss or misuse of the user data for the use of the application. Loss or theft of means of identification, business entity (authorized representative, contact person or user) is obliged to immediately report to the Bank/nearest branch office during working hours from 08:00 - 18:00, via free contact phone: 0800 500 11 or 051/333-350 and/or to the e-mail address nova.kontakt@novabanka.com. The user bears all damage caused by non-compliance with the instructions related to the use of Smart nova web and mobile application, especially in case of disclosing or making available passwords and means of identification (token) to unauthorized third parties, failure to report loss, theft or unauthorized use of means of identification or Smart nova application, loss or theft of the mobile phone to which he/she receives SMS messages or failure to report changes to the mobile phone number to which he/she receives SMS messages. The Bank will block the User from using the Smart nova application, if upon the User's report the Bank establishes loss, theft or unauthorized access to the Smart nova service or means of identification. Use of the service(s) will be re-enabled after the identification means have been replaced. The Bank is not liable to the User for the damage caused by his non-compliance with the instructions related to the safe use of the Smart nova service, as well as for the damage that occurred before the report of unauthorized use of the Smart nova service and blocking of the same. - The Bank executes payment orders in accordance with the General Terms of Use and in accordance with other enforceable agreements and applicable regulations. All user actions are electronically recorded. The electronic record of procedures and orders is archived in accordance with the applicable legal regulations. The Bank will execute payment orders when all conditions for execution are met, in accordance with the applicable legal regulations governing the performance of payment transactions. The Bank is not responsible for the confidentiality of information after their receipt on the defined mobile phone of the User and is not responsible for the abuse caused in this way. The Bank is not obliged to verify the ownership of the mobile phone specified in the Application. - The user is obliged to use the services in the manner prescribed by the instructions for the use of services. Instructions for the use of services are available on the Bank's website www.novabanka.com.

The condition for activating mobile and web Smart Nova application is that you have an active current account in Nova banka.

The condition for activating the Smart nova mobile service is an active current account in Nova banka. The user must also own a smart mobile phone.

OTP (One time password) is a one-time security code that is generated on a token or delivered via SMS.
A mToken is a security device that ensures the confidentiality and inviolability of information about your accounts when using the Smart nova service. The token is used to identify the user when signing a payment order when creating and executing a payment transaction.
